How To Host: Whipped Butter Platter
Bread and butter is the first appetizer, the first thing set at the table at any restaurant worth dining in. So for my September dinner party I decided on a whipped butter platter, the ultimate bread and butter presentation. Whipped butter is a simple yet delicious way to elevate butter. Whipping butter gives it a light and creamy texture that is addicting to spread on butter, crackers and rolls. In this whipped butter platter I've included four different whipped butters. The whipped butter platter with: garlic and herb, lemon and basil, bacon and gouda, and honey and cinnamon sugar butter.

Whipped Butter Platter Ingredients
Garlic & Herb
1 stick of Butter
3 cloves Roasted Garlic
¼ cup Parsley
1 tsp. Pepper
1 tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
½ tsp. Salt
Bacon & Gouda
1 stick of Butter
½ cup Gouda, finely grated
6 oz. Bacon, crispy
½ tsp. Black Pepper
Lemon & Basil
1 stick of Butter
1 Lemon, zested
¼ cup Basil
½ tsp. Salt
½ tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
Honey & Cinnamon Sugar
1 stick of Butter
1 tbsp. Honey
¼ cup Brown Sugar
1 tsp. Cinnamon
¼ tsp. Salt

Whipped Butter Platter Method
All of your butter should be room temperature, that will be the easiest to whip. In a stand mixer with a paddle attachment, add one stick of butter, whip for three minutes until butter gets slightly creamy. Add the ingredients for whatever butter you want to make, adjust to taste. Leave at room temp before serving.
